Terms of use
Plain terms, no surprises
Track Your App is a free community project. These terms are written to be read, not decoded. If anything is unclear, please reach out.
1. It is a free community project
Track Your App is free to use. There is no subscription, no paywall, and no premium tier. We do not charge for access to the tracker, the draws data, or any other feature on this site, and we have no plans to do so.
The underlying data comes from the community IRCC PR Master Tracker, a volunteer-maintained Google Sheet, and from public government datasets published by IRCC and Statistics Canada. This project exists to make that data easier to read, not to profit from it.
2. Estimates are informational. They are not promises and not legal or immigration advice
Important disclaimer
The processing-time estimates, draw analyses, and community timelines on this site are informational only. They reflect historical community data and public government statistics. They are not legal or immigration advice, and they are not promises about your application outcome or timeline.
Immigration timelines depend on factors specific to each applicant: the visa office processing your file, your stream, your AOR date, and decisions that IRCC makes independently. Estimates drawn from community averages will not match every individual case. Use them for general context, not as a guarantee.
For time-sensitive matters
Do not rely on Track Your App as your only source for deadlines, document submissions, visa expiry, restoration, appeals, or inadmissibility questions. Always confirm with IRCC or a qualified professional.
If you need advice about your immigration file, please consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or a licensed immigration lawyer.
3. We do not connect to IRCC
Track Your App is a community tracking and analytics tool. It does not connect to IRCC and cannot access or update your official application file.
We have no relationship with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. We cannot see the status of your application, submit anything on your behalf, or communicate with IRCC in any way. Any information you enter here stays within this application and is not transmitted to any government body.
4. Data sources
The information displayed on this site comes from three sources:
- Community IRCC PR Master Tracker. A public Google Sheet maintained voluntarily by Express Entry applicants. The data reflects what those applicants have chosen to share and is subject to their community editing norms. We mirror it hourly; we do not own it.
- IRCC public data. Draw history, processing time standards, and invited-candidate demographic data published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada under open government licences.
- Statistics Canada open data. Census and immigration statistics published under the Statistics Canada Open Licence.
We display this data in good faith. We do not guarantee that any of these sources are current or error-free.
5. Acceptable use
We ask for a few reasonable commitments in return for free access:
- No abusive scraping. Automated requests that place unreasonable load on the site or bypass standard access are not permitted. The underlying public data is already available from its original sources.
- No misrepresentation. Do not present data from this site as official IRCC statistics or as immigration advice. Please credit the community tracker and government open-data sources if you reference figures publicly.
- No others' sensitive data. Do not enter another person's application details, passport number, UCI, or other personal information into this site without their explicit consent.
6. We may change the site and these terms
Track Your App is a living project. Features may be added, changed, or removed. These terms may be updated to reflect how the site evolves. The date at the bottom of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
We will not make changes that retroactively harm your privacy. Our privacy policy governs how your personal data is handled.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province. Any disputes arising from your use of this site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
8. Questions
If you have a question about these terms or about this project in general, please reach us via the contact page.
